I get the above message during Inbound Putaway.

Scenario is:

Product comes with HU, First putaway is in to Fixed bin (non-HU St.Typ) and remaining quantity goes to High rack which is HU managed. The aim is to use incoming HU number in the high rack.

RF System behavior:

Asks for destination HU however Destination HU field is grayed out.

SAP GUI behavior:

Asks for destination HU however Destination HU field is NOT grayed out, however entered HU is not accepted and "Exclusive access to HU no longer possible after partial lock" message is issued.

 ORIGINAL SYSTEM MESSAGE is below:

Exclusive access to HU no longer possible after partial lock

Message no. /SCWM/HUGENERAL008

Diagnosis

The handling unit is in lock mode, which makes parallel processing possible. Switching to exclusive mode from this state is not possible.

System Response

Action is not possible

Procedure

Save your processing before executing the action you have just performed.

Procedure for System Administration

If you are in a work center, the system settings of the work center allow you to define whether objects are locked in parallel mode where possible or always locked exclusively.

  1. First you need define destination HU input enabled!
  2. In the Product-Master you need to check-mark "Split During Put-away"
  3.

Hi,

I get the same error, when i try to perform CHBA during picking.

When i change the batch to the same source bin at the foreground, it asks to enter the destination HU. When i enter the destination HU and confirm the WT it gives me the error "Exclusive access to HU no longer possible after partial lock".

is there a solution for this?
