Symptom
When you try to post Goods Issue for an Outbound Delivery Order you face the following error message:
"Delivery &1, item &2: Status of transit procedure prohibits goods issue"
(Message no. /SCWM/GOODS_MOVEMENT044)
Environment
- SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SCM-EWM)
- SAP Extended Warehouse Management Delivery Processing (SCM-EWM-DLP)
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to transaction /SCWM/PRDO
- Open the ODO
- Press "Goods Issue" button
- Error "Delivery &1, item &2: Status of transit procedure prohibits goods issue" happens
Cause
Status 'Transit Procedure' is set 'For Checking'.
Resolution
To release the check you have to use the "Transit Procedure" button on the document header level and click 'Set Status to "Release"'.
