3307597 - Inbound delivery creation, HU is not getting determined automatically for Condition type 0IBD

Symptom

During packing creation /SCWM/PACK or Inbound delivery creation /SCWM/PRDI, HU is not getting determined/created automatically even though valid condition record has been maintained for the  Condition type 0IBD (key combination-Product and partner role SHIP- FROM) in Tcode SCWM/PACKSPEC.

Environment

• SAP Extended Warehouse Management
• SAP Extended Warehouse Management - Delivery processing

Reproducing the Issue

1. Open the delivery in tr. /SCWM/PRDI

2. Navigate to the inbound packing via Menu -> Inbound Delivery -> Follow-On Functions -> Pack

3. Select the stock line and click on the Autopack icon

Cause

 Partner Role for Packaging Specification Determination kept blank in SAP Standard setup.

Resolution

In order to determine Ship-From  from packaging specification in the inbound delivery packaging process you have to maintain partner role SFPRT in Customizing

• Go to SPRO: Extended Warehouse Management > Goods Receipt Process > Inbound Delivery > Define Document Types for Inbound Delivery Process.
• Add "SFPRT" as partner role for  0IBD (Procedure for Packaging Material Proposal)
