Symptom
When creating a Goods Receipt (GR) reversal, a queue will stuck in the ERP system in transaction SMQ2 with the following error message: "Goods movement not possible with mvmt type &" (M7096).
Cause
In case of GR cancellation in EWM, the ERP system calls transaction VL09 in background to carry out the same posting in ERP. During this call there is a check on table T158B about the allowed transactions for movement types. The VL09 is not allowed to carry out the movement for the movement type mentioned in the error message.
Resolution
Maintain the following customizing entry:
- Call transaction OMJJ.
- Select field: Movement Type.
- Enter the movement type mentioned in the error message.
- Double-click: Allowed Transactions.
- Enter transaction VL09 for the effected movement type.
