Batch split in EWM INB of the Batch distributed from S/4HANA

The INB with 100 EA and Batch #1 was distributed from S/4HANA into Embedded EWM 1909. What is supplied by the vendor in actuality is Qty. 60 of Batch #1 and Qty. 40 of Batch#2.

I understand that Batch Split in EWM to work there should not be the Batch value and we need to use Batch Subitem to do the Batch Split. Since I already have the Batch#1, is it possible to do the Batch Split, without using the Process Code?

Hello,

The scenario you describe requires batch creation in inbound delivery in EWM when the goods arrive from vendor. To have this flexibility you should not create the batch before in ERP inbound delivery.
